From today 1 June 2020 NECH is relaxing visitor numbers from one to two nominated support people, per patient per day, including for maternity.
Aged Care visitor restrictions are unchanged with one nominated person at a time and up to two visitors per day between the hours of 11am-1pm and 4pm-6pm.
Each visitor will be asked to undergo a health screening and register their attendance at the concierge desk upon arrival.
NECH understans there will be exceptional circumstances and we encourage families to speak with staff or their specialist for further support.
NECH thanks patients and families for their understanding as they continue to work towards ensuring compliance with social distancing guidelines and doing everything possible to keep the community COVID Safe.
Follow these steps to help NECH protect staff and patients:
