North Eastern Community Aged Care Home
The North Eastern Community Aged Care Home provides high care permanent and high care respite accommodation facilities for 84 residents. The facility forms a part of the North Eastern Community Hospital Inc.
The Aged Care home offers residents single and share rooms, with adjoining shared ensuite facilities. Residents are provided with an environment of comfort, dignity and security. They receive contemporary quality care in both the medical and nursing fields within the resources available.
North Eastern Community Aged Care Home staff are dedicated to providing a holistic, personal approach to the care they deliver. Our staff encourage all of our residents to maintain their independence & special interests and to develop new friendships.
Visitors & Visiting Hours
Family, friends and visitors are considered to be a very important part of our residents’ lives and are most welcome at the home during visiting hours.
Visiting hours are between 11.00 am and 8.00 pm to allow for reasonable lifestyle assistance and care management of each resident.
Your personal visitors are welcome in your own room or in any communal living area of the facility. Small sitting rooms are also available for you to receive guests.
Regular involvement in family activities or events is important. We encourage involvement in family events outside of the home to ensure family bonds and associations are maintained.
School children and special interest groups from our community also visit the facility providing entertainment for our residents.
Lifestyle
Our residents are encouraged to maintain an active lifestyle and participate in as wide a variety of activities as possible.

Our Leisure and Lifestyle Co-ordinator creates an individual therapy programme for each resident to help maintain their lifestyle needs and interests whilst living in our home.
