Residents of North Eastern Community Aged Care’s memory support unit have commenced moving into their new rooms following the completion of Stage 1 of the Payneham Wing redevelopment.
The $5.6 million redevelopment includes upgraded rooms with ensuites for 23 care recipients, as well as a sun room and outdoor space with a purpose-built, communal garden.
The executive and staff are thrilled with the sleek, modern, high quality results of this stage of the project, which was designed by local architects Cheesman and constructed by Adelaide builder Mossop.
Work has commenced on Stage 2, with Stage 3 planned to commence in late June 2020. The redevelopment includes the expansion of the Hospital’s consulting and commercial precinct.
