North Eastern Community Hospital and Benson Radiology are delighted to enter into a new partnership.
From January 2021, Benson Radiology will deliver radiology services at the Hospital.
Initially, services will be delivered from the existing radiology wing, while a new state of the art imaging department is constructed.
The newly built department will also include MRI – which will be a boost to health services available to the North Eastern suburbs community.
North Eastern Community Hospital CEO, Michele Smith said she the new partnership would benefit all stakeholders.
“This new partnership presents a significant opportunity for the Hospital,” Ms Smith said.
“The new department and the expansion of our radiology services will improve our services to the community and support the Hospital’s plans for growth over the coming years.
“We look forward to a successful partnership with Benson Radiology to the benefit of our patients and referring medical practitioners in the North Eastern suburbs.”
The new arrangement follows a competitive tender process for the provision of the Hospital’s radiology services.
Benson Radiology is one of the nation’s largest private radiology providers, which currently operates 23 imaging clinics across the State. It’s Managing Partner, Dr Shan Bau was thrilled about the partnership.
