General Practitioner Dr Roman Nowosilskyj is a legend of the Adelaide’s north-east, serving the local community for almost 45 years.
Dr Nowosilskyj is also a valued and esteemed member of the NECH community, providing surgery and in recent times providing care for residents in our aged care facility.
But many of the NECH community will not be aware that Dr Nowosilskyj was a keen footballer, both playing and coaching for Old Ignatians Football Club where he is a Life Member.
He was also the club doctor at North Adelaide Football Club and treated many hamstring strains and corked thighs in his time.
These days when not at NECH, he can be found in the busy North East Clinic seeing patients he has treated for decades.
Dr Nowosilskyj loves looking after his patients with great care and compassion through his clinic in Athelstone and at NECH.
“I love visiting the nursing home and making everyone smile,” he says.
